Friends of the Library Trivia Night

Help support special projects at the Library and enjoy a Trivia Night at the same time! The Friends of the Sachse Public Library invite you to participate in "Quiz for a Cause," hosted by Geeks Who Drink on Tuesday, May 2nd at 7 p.m. at Herman Marshall Whiskey in Wylie. 

The entry fee for the Trivia Night is $5 cash per person, and participants can bring a team of up to six people. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of the Sachse Public Library and help fund special projects at the Sachse Public Library.

Participants are welcome to bring their own food to the event, and chips and queso will be provided by Frankie's Mexican Cuisine, while supplies last.

AniMAY Hangout for Teens May 2nd

Teens ages 11 to 15 are invited to join us at the Sachse Public Library for a fun and relaxing Anime Hangout on Tuesday, May 2nd, starting at 5 p.m. 

Teens who participate will enjoy snacks and a surprise anime movie.

Adult Craft Night Calligraphy May 11

Adults ages 16+ can join us at the Library on Thursday, May 11 for Adult Craft Night. This month, attendees will use calligraphy to create cards for Mother's Day or in celebration of spring. This session of our Adult Craft Night will be hosted by Carol's Calligraphy. 

Due to high attendance at recent Adult Craft Night events, registration is required for this month's Adult Craft Night. Registration opens at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, and interested adults can register by visiting www.cityofsachse.com/adultcraftnight.

No Story Times in May

There will be no Story Times at the Library during the month of May. Library staff are hard-at-work preparing for our annual Summer Reading Program, which begins on Saturday, June 3 and runs through Saturday, July 29.
