Digital Magazines from NewsStand

You may already be familiar with the ebooks and audiobooks available from CloudLibrary, but you can now access over 7,000 digital magazines and newspapers in more than 60 languages with CloudLibrary NewsStand! 

To get started with NewsStand, download the CloudLibrary NewsStand app for your mobile device, or visit https://cloudlibrary.magzter.com/. A Sachse Public Library card number is required to create an account.

Free Online Tutoring with HelpNow

• Interact with live tutors in math, science, reading/writing, social studies, and other subjects. (Available 2 p.m. - 11 p.m. CST)
• Get help with writing assignments: upload a document and get feedback within 1 business day.
• Prepare for standardized tests with tutorials and practice tests for the GED, SAT/PSAT, ACT, AP, HESI, THEA, U.S. citizenship test, and other exams.
• Get help applying for college and completing the FAFSA application.
• Access Microsoft Office courses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced users.

Library Closing at 5 P.M. on Dec. 8th

On Wednesday, December 8, the Sachse Public Library will close at 5 p.m. to prepare for the City of Sachse's Christmas Extravaganza.

The holiday festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with a lighted Christmas Parade down Miles Road from Sachse High School to the Sachse Municipal Complex, followed by a Tree Lighting at 7:00 p.m. in front of City Hall.

We invite you to enjoy the parade and other events that evening, including visits with Santa, story times, train rides, a petting zoo, popcorn and cider, and a special Winter Wonderland Surprise!
