Head's Up, Sachse! Bulk Trash Set Out is Changing

The Sachse City Council amended Section 6-11 (Trash and Bulk Storage/Pick-up) of Chapter 6 "Health and Sanitation" of its Code of Ordinances. This amendment better aligns regulations outlined by the code with current collection services offered by Community Waste Disposal (CWD), the City’s solid waste provider.

What does this mean for Sachse residents?

Beginning in January, residents are required to place their Bulk Trash out only two days prior to their scheduled collection date. Brush items (such as tree trimmings, yard clippings, etc.) can go out the weekend before your collection date.

We’re getting the word out, so residents can prepare. If you’re not sure about your collection day, check out the interactive map for more details: Bulk Trash Info and Interactive Map.
