The City of Sachse has two elevated towers and four ground storage tanks for a combined storage of 6.9 million gallons of water.

                
 Original elevated tower at corner of Fifth Street and Sachse Road.  Newer elevated tower located at Public Works offices.

              
These ground storage tanks are located next to the Public Works offices.  The newest tank, a 2-million gallon tank, was put in service May 2007. 

Water is purchased from the North Texas Municipal Water District and is considered a superior water supply.
