In
order to begin your water service in Sachse, you must come by City
Hall in person and present the following: $50.00

service card with the following information: Address
where service is requested Driver’s
license number Social Security number Home phone number Work phone number Place of employment
The
water department must have 24 hours notice. Water
bills will be mailed out on the first of the month and are due by
the 20th. After the
20th, a 10% penalty is assessed to your outstanding balance.
If the 20th is on a weekend, the penalty is assessed after 5:00 pm
the next business day. A $25 fee is assessed for reconnection
of water services made during business hours (Monday thru Friday, 7
am - 4 pm) and a $40 fee is assessed for reconnection of water
services made after regular business hours (after 4 pm Monday thru
Friday and on Saturday or Sunday). It is unlawful for any
person to interfere with water meters or turn water on after it has
been disconnected. A fee of $25 will be charged for NSF checks.
After three NSF checks for any reason, you will be
required to pay by cash, cashier's check, or money order for one year. Water
service, sewer service and garbage collection will all appear on
your water bill. The
recycle bins can be picked up at City Hall when you request your
water service. Any garbage pick-up or recycle pick-up
questions should be directed to Utility Billing personnel at
