RECEIVES AWARD FOR PUMPKIN PROWL

Mario Bautista, Crew Leader and Cynthia Wiseman, Activity Coordinator for the Sachse Parks and Recreation Department, accept the award.

The Sachse Parks and Recreation Department was honored recently at the Texas Recreation & Park Society (TRAPS) conference held in November.  The Excellence in Programming Award for Region III was presented for Sachse's innovation Pumpkin Prowl held in October each year.  This award is a tremendous honor for Sachse.  Because of our location, Sachse competes against cities in Regions III which encompasses several large cities including Dallas, Plano, Richardson, McKinney, Garland, Rockwall and Rowlett located in Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, Ellis and Houston counties just to name a few.  Congratulations Sachse Parks and Recreation Department on another job well done.
