Reference USA by infoUSA is an online database containing profiles of more than 13 million U.S. businesses and 120 million U.S. residents.  The database is useful for compiling mailing lists and offers the capability to limit searches by zip code, city, state, sales, number of employees, and other options. 

Reference USA is easy to use and designed so that even computer novices can find the information they need.  Once you're set up, all you need is Internet access and a browser.  You can use the database either at the Library or remotely.  In order to get set up, you must have an active Sachse Public Library card.  For more information, please stop by the Library or call 972.530.8966.

ResumeMaker is easy to use and offers information on resume and letter writing, interview and salary tips, and job search tools.  In writing resumes and letters of introduction, this guide offers suggested words and phrases to get a prospective employer's attention.  For the interview process, this guide outlines common interview questions, what employers want to know and salary information.


TexShare Databases (A program of the Texas State Library) provide a wealth of resources on health and medicine, business, genealogy, and literature.  Access these powerful research tools 24 hours a day from the library, your home, or office.  Contact the librarian for the required login and password. 


Global Road Warrior, an online database that answers many of the questions you might have when traveling to a foreign country, is available through the Sachse Library.  Through the Global Road Warrior website, answers to questions about travel within 175 countries is at your fingertips.  You will need a Sachse Library card to enjoy the online tour.
