Donations / Volunteers

Councilman King and Scout Cailin Stewart
Scout Cailin Stewart) working on his Eagle Project at the shelter.  He is building a visitation area, where people can take dogs they are interested in for a visit.  The Shelter is very excited about this project and thankful that Cailin picked the Sachse Shelter for his project.  He is pictured with Cullen King and with his family and friends who are helping with his Eagle Scout Project.

Animal Shelter Supervisor Terri O'Neal receives a recent donation left to the Shelter by one of its most supportive volunteers, Mr. Ken Wimmer.  Frank Millsap of Sachse Rod Shop was instructed by Mr. Wimmer to present the donation to the Shelter.  Shelter staff will certainly miss Mr. Wimmer as will the many animals he helped care for.
