Board Appointment

Each year, the Sachse City Council considers appointments to the following boards and commissions:

Selection Process
  • All applicants will be notified of appointment by mail
  • Applications must be submitted in September or when a there is an open vacancy   
  • Appointments will be made by the City Council for two-year terms
  • Members must maintain regular attendance at meetings

Applicants who were not accepted will be reconsidered as vacancies occur. Applications will be maintained on file for one year.
