Budget Officer $41,657.00 to $52,071.00/year DOQ
Under general supervision this position is responsible for performance of routine and non-routine financial, budgeting, and research work on the City's fiscal activities as well as coordination and preparation of the City's annual budget. Must have knowledge of financial analysis, methods of budget analysis and control, fiscal impact, performance indicators, and accounting theory practices and procedures. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of governmental finance experience.
Maintenance Technician (Public Works / Streets) $12.22 to $15.28/hour DOQ
Reporting to a Crew Leader, this position makes various concrete and asphalt repairs, operates skid loader, and performs other duties related to city streets and signage. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one (1) year experience performing manual labor, and a Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of hire.
Police Dispatcher $14.17 to $17.71/hour DOQ
Under general supervision, this position receives, screens, and dispatches calls for service for police, fire, and medical services while maintaining status and awareness of police units and monitoring alarms. Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, minimum typing speed of 25 WPM, and one (1) year dispatch experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must pass a post-offer pre-employment physical, drug screening, and a psychological examination. Requires Basic Telecommunicator Certification through TCLEOSE within one (1) year of hire. Must be able to work various shifts, which may include evenings, nights, and weekends.
