EASTER EGG SCRAMBLE AND FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNTS
The Parks and Recreation Department
began the Easter festivities with the Easter Egg Scramble.
Over 340 parents and children braved the chilly winds to hunt for
candy and prize eggs.

Later that evening, the
Easter Bunny hid over 1200 candy-stuffed eggs and the two golden prize
eggs for the Flashlight Egg Hunt. Over 320 children and parents
were on hand for the fun. It was really neat hunting for the eggs
in the dark with flashlights.

DOGGIE BONE HUNT
The first Doggie Bone Hunt was attended by approximately 60 dogs and
100 pet owners. Both large and small dogs were at the park looking
for hidden dog bones, including prize bones. There was a guess the
number of bones contest and DiRty DaWgz of Sachse
provided coupons for everyone.
