Per City of Sachse Code of Ordinances - Chapter 9,
Traffic Regulations, Section 9-6. Parking and Chapter 11, Zoning, Article 4,
General Provisions Applying to All or Several Districts, Section 4. Storage and
Parking of Trailers and Commercial Vehicles:
- No parking on grass surfaces.
- No vehicle shall be parked blocking sidewalk.

It shall be
unlawful for any person or any owner to park or stand any vehicle along any
public street or highway, in the city, when posted with a NO PARKING sign.

Commercial vehicles and trailers of all types, including travel,
camping, hauling, motor homes and mobile homes shall not be parked or stored
on any lot occupied by a dwelling or on any lot in any residential district
except in accordance with the following provisions:
~ It shall be unlawful for any person or any owner to leave, park or stand
any truck-tractor, road tractor, semi-trailer, bus, truck or trailer with a
rated capacity in excess of one ton, according to the manufacturer's
classification, upon any public street or highway within any area zoned as
either single-family dwelling district, duplex district, multiple-family
district, commercial district or industrial district, according to the
zoning ordinances of the city.
~ Exceptions: This section shall not prevent the parking or standing of the
above-described vehicles in said zoned areas for the purpose of
expeditiously loading and unloading passengers, freight or merchandise, but
not otherwise, and provided, however, that not more than one truck-tractor
or semi-trailer cab may be parked upon a residential lot in said zoned
districts.
~ Not more than one commercial vehicle which does not exceed one and
one-half (1-1/2) tons rated capacity, shall be permitted; and in no case
shall a commercial vehicle used for hauling explosives, gasoline or other
liquefied petroleum products be permitted.
~ Not more than three (3) camping or travel trailers, hauling trailers or
motor homes shall be permitted and said trailers shall not exceed 32 feet in
lenth, or eight feet in width; and further provided that said trailer shall
not be parked or stored for more than 48 hours unless it is located behind
the front building line. A camping or travel trailer or motor home
shall not be occupied either temporarily or permanently while it is parked
or stored in any area within the incorporated limits except in a trailer
court authorized under the ordinances of the city.
~ A mobile home shall be parked or stored only in a trailer court which is
in conformity with the ordinances of the city.
- All trailers must be parked 15 feet from the front
property line.
- All vehicles must be operable, licensed and inspected
(or stored in approved storage area and screened from public view).
