The Code Enforcement Department of the Fire Marshal's office enforces the City's ordinance on garage sales/occasional sales.  According to city ordinance, a resident is allowed two garage/occasional sales per year at their address.  There is no charge for the permit, however, this is the city's method for keeping track of the frequency and location of sales.  You must also adhere to the city's code for garage sale signs.  Click here for garage sale sign information.  In order to hold a garage/occasional sale you must obtain a permit from the Code Enforcement office.  Click here to download a permit, fill it out and bring it to the Fire Administration office, or click here to fill out a permit online.
