GISD OFFERS ONLINE GRADE BOOK FOR PARENTS
GISD provides an Online Gradebook that allows parents/guardians and
students access to student grades via the internet. This allows parents to be
actively involved in their child's education. By monitoring
grades, parents can tell when a student is struggling and can
quickly take action before it becomes too late. Students can
check their grades to ensure that they are at an academically
accepted level.
Beginning on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, individuals can create accounts for the 2008-09 school year. Go to the main
district website at
www.garlandisd.net and then click the link on the right side of
the screen titled "Online Gradebook". Follow the steps through
the parent login screen. Once you have created an account and
your email address has been confirmed, you must answer specific
questions in order to obtain your child's record. These measures
protect your child and maintain the confidentiality of his/her records.
If you need assistance with your online account, please visit
gradebookhelp@garlandisd.net.
