Sachse residents who live in Dallas County attend Garland schools.  The Garland School District has open enrollment campuses.  A student may attend any Garland school of their choice as long as they have transportation to that facility.  If they depend on school bus transportation, they must attend the school whose bus route they reside in.

Sachse residents who live in Collin County attend Wylie schools.  Wylie School District has designated boundaries.  Students who live in Sachse's Collin County neighborhoods will attend elementary school at Cheri Cox Elementary, located at Woodbridge Parkway and Creek Crossing.  Middle school and high school students must attend schools located in Wylie.  Check with the Wylie ISD (972.442.5444) for more information.

Jawan Wiltz believes that students are more receptive and information is more meaningful to them if they can relate to it.  "Students learn best through experience and as an educator my job is to make these opportunities possible."  Jawan graduated from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana with a bachelor of science degree.

Kathy Boneau (Cox Elementary) states that her philosophy is "every child can succeed".  She feels it is important for children to feel successful because it gives them the confidence and motivation to continue to try all subjects.  She earned her bachelor of science degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Sherry Bullin (Sewell Elementary) feels that it is the job of teachers to equip students with learning strategies that they can apply to life long learning.  Sherry received a bachelor of arts from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master of education from Texas Women's University.

Tammy Liehr (Sachse High School) states her goal is to provide students with opportunities to expand their minds.  She coaches students on methods to use to approach problems hoping that they will make positive choices in future situations.  Tammy graduated from Northeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and a master of arts in education.

Kay Tabor (Luna Elementary) feels that a teacher must not only be prepared with good curriculum but must also have the highest expectations for all students.  She states "a child's expectations must be that they can learn and be successful."  Kay received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and a master's degree from SMU.
