Councilman Mark Timm was elected in 2001 to serve on the City Council in Place 6. He was re-elected in May 2004 and again in May 2007 for his third consecutive term. Mark served on the Comprehensive Master Plan Steering Committee, and served as chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission prior to his election to City Council. He is now the City Council liaison to the Garland Independent School District and serves on the Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors. Mark is a Manager at Kroger Food Stores. He and his family have lived in Sachse for over 15 years.
