Ponderosa Trail Click here to email Councilman Smith Elected to serve in Place 1 in 2003, re-elected to his second term in 2006, and ran unopposed in 2009 for his third term, Councilman Charles Smith is the owner of Charles Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse. Mr. Smith is the Sachse City Council representative on the NCTCOG Emergency Preparedness Council. He is also involved with the Lions Club and the Sachse-Wylie Exchange Club, and has served on numerous boards and commissions for the City. He and his family have lived in Sachse for over 30 years.
