Peachtree Lane Mike Felix, who served as Councilman from 1992 - 2003, was elected Mayor in May 2004 and re-elected to his second term as Mayor in May 2007. Mike is the Manager of Manufacturing for Magnolia Shutters. He has served on the Sachse Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, serving one term as President, served as Council liaison to the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee, has served on the Residential District Zoning Committee and Sachse Fallfest Committee. He is currently the NCTCOG Representative for Sachse's City Council and North Texas Tollway Authority co-liaison. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Sachse, Sachse Lions Club, Sachse Sports Association, Hudson PTA and Sachse Historical Society. He and his family have lived in Sachse for over 20 years.
