Eastview Councilman
Burnett, Regional Supply Chain Solutions Manager for a world-wide
electronics distributor, was elected to serve in Place 3 on the City
Council in 1999, ran unopposed in 2002, and was re-elected in 2005 to his
third consecutive
term. He is a
co-founder and past president of a Sachse Civic Organization and has been
active in youth sports programs. Mr. Burnett currently serves as the City Council
liaison to the Library Board, the NCTCOG Regional Transportation
Council and is the North Texas Tollway Authority co-liaison. He served as the Council liaison to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan Steering
Committee. A 7th generation Texan, Councilman Burnett has lived in
North Texas since 1969 and in Sachse since 1993. |
