The Board of Adjustments has authority to make exceptions to the terms of the zoning ordinances of the City of Sachse in harmony with zoning's general purpose and rules.  This Board grants variances to the zoning ordinances in the best interest of the general public.  The Board of Adjustments meets on the third Thursday evening of each month on an as-needed basis (when there is a case to be heard).  The meetings are conducted at City Hall at 7:30 pm and an agenda is posted seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meetings.  There are five members and four alternates appointed by the City Council for two-year terms.

Mayor Mike Felix administered the Oath of Office for newly appointed Zoning Board of Adjustment alternate member Corey Hill at the May 19th City Council meeting.

Frank Millsap received a Certificate of Appreciation from Mayor Mike Felix at the May 5th City Council meeting.  Mr. Millsap resigned from the Board of Adjustment to serve on the Tax Increment Finance (TIF) Board for the President George Bush Tollway Eastern Extension.
