LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX

The local sales and use tax for Sachse is 8.25%; 6.25% of this total is Texas State tax, 1.50% is City of Sachse tax and 0.50% goes to Sachse Economic Development Corporation.

Sachse is located in two counties; Dallas and Collin.  Residents living in Dallas County will receive a tax statement from Dallas County that will include county taxes and city taxes.  The school taxes will come from Garland Independent School District.

Residents living in Collin County will receive a tax statement from Collin County that will include county taxes, city taxes, and school taxes all on one statement.
