Summer Reading 2023 Begins This Saturday The Sachse Public Library's Summer Reading Program begins this Saturday, June 3rd with our Summer Reading Kick-Off Party from 10 a.m. until noon, where kids and families can enjoy a petting zoo, inflatables, outdoor games, and a bubble foam party.
Kids, teens, and adults of all ages are all invited to participate in the 10-Hour Reading Challenge. For every 10 hours (600 minutes) spent reading, participants will earn an entry into one of our awesome prize drawings. To be eligible, all reading time must be entered no later than Saturday, July 29. The fun doesn't stop there! Join us each week for events and performers, showcasing exciting music, amazing animals, wacky science and more! Plus, don't miss out on weekly activities at the Library, including movies, Story Times, and crafts! Summer Reading 2023 ends on Saturday, July 29 with our Summer Reading Finale Party. Join us as we celebrate a summer filled with reading at this awesome event, featuring inflatables, outdoor games, and a book sale hosted by the Friends of the Sachse Public Library. The Finale is the last day to enter your reading time, so don't miss out on your chance to win one of our prize drawings!
