Life Saving RecognitionOn April 12, 2022 at 6:18 p.m., Brock Ravenscroft was working on his car when the jack failed, pinning him underneath. His neighbor, Nathan Stokes, heard his screams for help and rushed to his aid. Mr. Stokes was able to re-engage the jack and lift the car off of Brock, potentially saving his life. Mayor Felix recognized Nathan's heroic efforts at this past Monday's Council meeting.

New Summer Hours of Operation City Hall and Sachse Senior Activity CenterDo you find yourself needing to visit City Hall before or after hours due to schedule conflicts? Not wanting to take off work to renew a permit or pay a utility bill? We have a solution that will provide that extra flexibility for you and your family!
We are testing new hours of operation for the summer. Beginning May 31 through September 9, City Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays, and 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays. We would like to know what you think about these new hours of operation. Details on how to access the survey for this pilot program will be announced soon. Thank you for your patience as we try out something new! Follow the link for more details. http://ow.ly/pGaw50J6l7t
Please note, these hours are for City Hall and the Sachse Senior Activity Center only. All other facilities will not have a change in their hours of operation and of course, this will not interfere with access to fire and police services.
