Cops and Campers Registration Now OpenThe Sachse Police Department is excited to offer the opportunity for your child to apply for and attend the Cops and Campers youth summer camp. Cops and Campers youth summer camp is FREE to all students selected and includes activities and games as well as age appropriate lessons. Each weekly camp will also feature a field trip. The camps are run by the School Resource Officers from the Sachse Police Department in conjunction with select high school students and adult volunteers. The Cops and Campers summer camp will be offered over 2 separate weeks. There will be four (4) camps for elementary students, and four (4) camps for middle school students. The hours of operation for each camp will be 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Please note we can only accommodate 15 campers per camp. Click here to register.

Did You Know?Did you know that the Sachse Police Department offers a "Safe Trade Zone" for residents to safely exchange items that are purchased online? If you plan on making purchases through online exchange groups, we encourage you to take advantage of our safe trade program. There are two parking spots marked in front of the public safety building and a room in our lobby that is also marked. The room is audio/video recorded. Happy shopping!

Permit Fees Waived 90 Days on Storm Related RepairsPermit fees for commercial and residential remodels are temporarily waived for the next 90 days for all permits related to plumbing repairs, along with repairs to walls, floors and ceilings caused by the freezing precipitation in our area.
To qualify, the commercial or residential homeowner shall submit a completed permit application. The permit shall include a qualified plumber, according to State of Texas standards, who is registered with the City of Sachse. All plumbing repairs shall be made by the selected plumbing professional.
All work is subject to field inspection by the City. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City requires all contractors to provide several pictures of their work. These pictures shall show all work that has been performed inside of walls before it is covered up, as well as the finished product. These pictures shall be sent to the City inspectors for review and approval of the work. All commercial remodels will be inspected in person. Click here for more information and permit applications.

Submit Your Storm Damage Assessment SurveyThe City of Sachse needs your help in assessing how much damage our community sustained from the storm. Emergency management professionals use a number of tools to determine how much damage an event created. One of those tools is the damage assessment contained in the survey link below.
If you sustained damage from the storm, please take a moment to complete the survey. This survey will provide important data to state and federal officials regarding the impacts of the storm. As noted in the survey, completing this form does not replace contacting your insurance provider, nor does it secure any kind of state or federal funding to help resolve the issues. Discover Your Bulk & Brush Collection DayThe City has new times to set out your bulk trash and brush collection. Bulk trash needs to be placed out no earlier than 48 hours prior to your scheduled collection day. What about brush? It goes out on the Saturday prior to your collection day.

The chart includes the number of active cases, where the cases are located by county, the gender of the patients, status of the patients (e.g., hospitalized, self-quarantined) and the number of recovered cases.
