The City Utility billing department would like to help you conserve water whenever possible. MyWaterAdvisor provides valuable information on constant flow (which could indicate a leak) or increased usage in a routine pattern from 12 am to 5 am (may indicate irrigation running).
Turn off irrigation systems: Recent rainfall levels will allow you to conserve by turning off the irrigation. Note: Use the cut off in your box in the yard! The irrigation box in the garage can reset to factory settings with a power surge or loss of power.
Check for Leaks: If you are experiencing constant water flow without any zero consumption hours on MyWaterAdvisor, the City recommends a review. Check to make sure the toilet flappers are sealing after use. Check indoor and outdoor faucets to make sure they are not dripping. After repair, you could qualify for a leak adjustment.
